Asthmatic conditions can be noticed through wheezing, chest pains, obscure breathing, coughing and other discomforts. This disease can be life threatening if not properly managed. Asthma is a condition that affects the airways or the tubes that regulate the movement of air within the lungs. Ones there is inflammation within the walls of the airways then there will be swollen and mucus will be created in excess and this will lead to difficulty in breathing. No two asthmatic patients can occur the same form of attacks, there are always difference in the way the attacks occurs. When the airways are shut down by swelling and mucus then enough oxygen will not flow through the body and this will affect the organs of the body which may lead to death.

There are some home remedies that can be used to cure your asthma. These are the do it yourself remedies.
Honey; inhaling the air from honey jar can help the asthma patients to breath easily and even deeper.
Fig; soak four dry figs overnight in warm water. Drink the water and the water will be able to drain the phlegm that may cause any attack.
Lemon; you can take the juice of lemon and dilute it with water, take a glass of it with your meals and you will get the kind of result that will aid your breathing.
Indian gooseberry mixed with honey. You can mix gooseberry with honey and take it as tonic. You only need five grams of the gooseberry and a table spoon of honey and you have your tonic. Take it every morning.
Bitter Gourd Roots; Get a teaspoon of the root paste of the bitter gourd roots, mixed it with the same quantity of honey. You can also alternatively use the leaves of the tulsi. You will need to take this mixture, ones every night. You should be waiting for a tremendous turn around in your condition.
Drumsticks Leaves; you will need to prepare some soup from the leaves of the drumstick leaves by boiling the leaves in at least 180ml of water, let it boil for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool, add some salt, pepper and a little lime juice to it and your soup is complete. Then you can take it both morning and evening.
Ginger and Garlic; Boil ten garlic cloves with thirty ml of milk and you have your perfect early asthma medicine. This should be taken once every day. You can also mix ginger and garlic together to make a steaming tea and drink once in the morning and night. Additional mixture of ginger juice and fenugreek (decoction) and honey can be use as an expectorant that works on asthma. This can also be taken both in the morning and the night.
Bishop’s weeds and Safflower. Mix half teaspoon of Bishop’s weeds with buttermilk to be taken twice a day. This will work perfectly on any phlegm that has dried up in your respiratory tract. You can also mix the weed with ajwain, boil it to steaming and then inhale the steam and the passages of your bronchial cavity will be widened. You can also mix the powder of the dry seed of sunflower with honey and the expectorant qualities can be used on bronchial asthma.
There are many other home remedies that can be used on asthma but you will need to make sure that you are working in conjunction with your doctor so as not to over do things.
