Taking care of a pregnant woman for the required period before the birth of the baby takes a lot from both the woman and the husband, both financially and otherwise.taking all these into consideration, it will then be a sad thing to now give birth to this baby and now discover that there are(is) a deformity with this child. We all no what parents with heart deformities in their baby go through, it is not a pleasant thing at all not for the baby or the parent who will do any thing to prevent the death of the baby.
Babies are special gift from God and nobody will pray to have a deformed baby that is why all care must be taken to prevent infections that can affect our babies after birth. The major way to prevent this sort of deformity lies with the woman,Because research has shown that pregnant women with UTI(urinary tract infections)that has not been properly treated stand the risk of having babies with abnormal heart. I read this and i believe it will be wonderful for others to know
''Pregnant women with a UTI infection from one month before conception through the first trimester of pregnancy(three months of pregnancy). Are 70% likely to have such defect than women without UTI.Urinary tract infections are a serious problem that affect a lot of people worldwide.they are the most common type of infection in the body and according to the experts women are more prone to this infection, but reason for this is still being studied. One woman out of five develops a UTI during her lifetime.
Men are not that prone to having this infection but whenever they do it is always very serious because of the symptoms. But not every one that has this infection exhibits the symptoms.the most common symptoms include frequent urge to urinate and a painful, burning feeling when urinating.
According to research the use of vitamins, folic acid and other factors such as age ,race, ethnicity, exposure to sulfonamidedrugs or even the exposure of such babies to various environmental factors such as alcohol had no effect on determining which baby may end up having this defects.
Birth defects can affect any part of the organ such as the brain, heart, lungs, liver, bones and the intestines and there are many reasons for such defect which include inherited conditions, toxic exposures of the unborn baby, birth injury and in many cases for unknown reasons.
But from researches carried out on women in the university of Arkansas for Medical Sciences headed by doctor Mario Cl eves and his team it was established that mothers of children with this deformities are more likely to report having UTI at some point in their pregnancy.
